Assignment Details
• Start/end: ASAP, ongoing; 12+ month assignments
• Schedule: Full-time preferred (5 days/week, 4 weeks/month); minimum 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off acceptable; limited backup hospital call; may leave clinic for urgent hospital coverage when on backup
• Coverage type: Inpatient and outpatient — clinic, hospital OR, and ambulatory surgery center; must cover at least two settings, all three preferred
• Volume: ~20 patients/shift; ~3,000 deliveries/year
• Setting: Level 2 trauma, stroke certified; growing women's health program
• Support: Works alongside OB/GYNs, 13 APPs, and certified nurse midwives; provides mentorship to newer providers
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: ~90 days
Clinical Details
• Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major)
• Preferred scope: Level I and II OB ultrasounds
• Must practice independently and collaborate with APPs and midwives
Requirements
• Board certified in OB/GYN
• At least 3 years post-training (or 2 years plus fellowship); recent clinic and surgical experience
• License: WA or IMLC
• BLS
• Active DEA
Compensation
• Rate caps apply: $325/hr
• Malpractice provided
• Travel and lodging reimbursed
