  • Schedule: Call only; beeper call, 30-min response, 40% callback
  • Coverage type: Call only, inpatient
  • Volume: ~5 patients/shift; 5 phone consults; ~2 admissions; ~800 deliveries/year; 10 beds
  • Setting: Level 3 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required
  • Support: Not specified
  • EMR: Cerner/Athena
  • Credentialing: ~5 days (emergency credentialing)
    • Clinical Details
  • Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major)
  • Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients
    • Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
  • License: AK or IMLC
  • BLS, PALS
  • Active DEA
