Dentist OpportunityLocation: Jennings, Louisiana•Seeking a Dentist (DDS/DMD) to provide comprehensive dental care, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation services. •Examine patients, diagnose dental conditions, and develop and provide appropriate treatment plans. •Perform dental procedures within approved clinical privileges and refer patients to specialists when appropriate. •Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, treatment options, and overall wellness. •Maintain accurate and timely dental records, referrals, and required documentation. •Participate in dental/medical staff meetings, quality assurance, and continuous performance improvement activities. •Support staff education, training, orientation, and community health education as needed. •Work collaboratively with dental and medical professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. •Promote a professional, respectful, and welcoming environment while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. •Follow applicable federal/state regulations, clinical standards, organizational policies, and safety procedures. Qualifications•Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school. •Current, unrestricted Louisiana dental license. •CPR certification required. •Knowledge of dental medicine, patient care, prevention, and treatment practices. •Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with dental and medical staff. •Strong communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills. •Commitment to serving diverse and community-based patient populations. •Ability to participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
