The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking BC/BE oral and maxillofacial surgeons for Wilkes Barre with outreach in Scranton, PA . The successful candidates will join a full-scope academic CODA-accredited training OMFS practice with a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care in collaboration with multiple departments in the health system. The practice has a special emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar and implant surgery with in-office sedation, corrective jaw surgery, cleft palate, TMJ and reconstructive surgery. These are fantastic opportunities for new graduates or experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeons to teach and work with residents and participate in research with dedicated faculty time designation.
Job Duties
Join a full-scope, CODA-accredited OMS program within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
The practice includes expertise in:
Maxillofacial trauma
Dentoalveolar and implant surgery (including in-office sedation)
Corrective jaw surgery
Cleft/craniofacial surgery
TMJ and reconstructive surgery
You will work alongside a collegial team of specialists, including oral pathology providers, delivering comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Qualifications
Interest in a full-scope, academic, and collaborative practice
BC/BE in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
DDS/DMD (or dual degree) with eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure
Education
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
