Physician Pain Management - Competitive Salary

Venice/Sarasota, Florida, Pain Medicine Physician Job

• Seeking an MD or DO board certified in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine

• Must have completed an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship

• 5+ years of work experience required

• Private pain clinic experience preferred; hospital experience considered

• Main office based in Venice or Sarasota, with coverage at other offices as demand dictates

• High-volume practice setting

• 32–45 procedure patients per day, 3–5 days per week

• Remaining time dedicated to clinic visits

• New patient appointments: 30 minutes

• Established patient appointments: 15 minutes

Required Procedural Skills:

• Lumbar transforaminal injections

• Thoracic epidural steroid injections

• Cervical epidural steroid injections

• Lumbar facet medial branch nerve radiofrequency ablation

• Thoracic facet medial branch nerve radiofrequency ablation

• Cervical facet medial branch nerve radiofrequency ablation

• Caudal steroid injections

• Sacroiliac joint injections

Required Advanced Procedural Skills:

• Ability to perform the following procedures in an ASC or office-based lab operating room:

  • Spinal cord stimulator trials and permanent implants

  • Lumbar kyphoplasty

  • Sacroplasty

  • Minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD)

  • Sacroiliac joint fusion

  • Intracept

  • Minuteman

  • Vertiflex

Organization Information:

• Private pain practice

• Base salary: $500,000

• Production bonuses: up to $200,000 in additional cash compensation, based on the number of procedure days worked per week

• Growth bonuses: $25,000–$35,000 per year

• Potential equity/partner income opportunity
