Pediatric Hospitalist Opening in LouisianaLocated in ShreveportFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join hospital.

• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Team Structure: 4-physician rotation model.
• Day Shifts: In-house floor management and admissions.
• Night Shifts: Unrestricted call from home.
• Newborn Nursery: Q4 weekend unassigned nursery coverage at one location. Paid unassigned nursery shifts at another location.
• Competitive Shift + wRVU compensation on both day and night shifts.
• Unassigned Nursery Call compensation. Minimum of 4 days paid unassigned nursery call per month.
• 24-bed dedicated pediatric inpatient unit.
• Modern community health system with robust subspecialty support.
• Need current PALS and NRP certifications
Duties:
• Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
• Provide expert consultations for emergency department pediatric cases.
• Coordinate care plans with primary pediatricians and specialists.
• Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care.
• Lead pediatric resuscitation or rapid response protocols if activated.
