Job DescriptionClient is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care within a secure correctional healthcare environment in Philadelphia. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by caring for an underserved adult population with complex behavioral health needs.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with acute and chronic psychiatric conditions, including serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral health crises. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and collaboration with medical and behavioral health professionals.
Facility assignment will be based on operational needs within the Philadelphia correctional system.
