Monday–Friday Schedule | Approximately Eight Patients per Physician | Dedicated Psych NP
Enjoy attractive compensation, a manageable patient caseload, and a collaborative practice at Holyoke Medical Center. We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our inpatient psychiatry team.
With a base salary of approximately $335,000, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, and generously compensated call, this opportunity offers a rewarding balance of clinical work and financial benefits.
A Practice Built Around Collaborative CareProvide care on a 16-bed adult inpatient unit, sharing patient coverage with a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. At full census, the psychiatrist and NP each typically cover approximately eight patients, allowing time for thoughtful assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.

Approximately 6–8 call weeks per year, paid separately from base salary

Base salary: Approximately $335,000 annually

Sign-on bonus:$50,000

Monday–Friday overnight call:$2,500 for the week’s coverage, 5 p.m.–8 a.m.

Weekend call:$5,000 for 24-hour coverage on both Saturday and Sunday

Total additional pay per full call week:$7,500
With 6–8 full call weeks annually, estimated base plus call compensation is $380,000–$395,000 per year, plus the $50,000 sign-on bonus.
