Peoria, Illinois, Body Imaging Radiologist Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or board eligible diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in body imaging

• Start date: ASAP

• Practice general radiology with opportunities to utilize your subspecialty expertise

• Combination of onsite diagnostic imaging and remote weekend reading

• Onsite schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• Remote coverage: One weekend per month

• Receive one day off during the week following the weekend worked

• Perform approximately 3–4 fluoroscopic GI procedures daily

• Experience performing fluoroscopic GI studies required

• No mammography or interventional radiology required

• Required modalities include:

  • X-ray

  • Fluoroscopy

  • CT

  • MRI

  • Ultrasound

• PET interpretation is optional

• Special consideration for candidates with rectal and prostate MRI interpretation experience

• Expected workload of approximately 65–75 wRVUs daily, depending on case mix and fluoroscopic procedure volume

• Maintain an approximately one-day turnaround time for outpatient studies

• MD or DO from an accredited institution required

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care

• Annual compensation: $850,000
