Job Details:
- Join an established urology practice working alongside an experienced urologist and a nurse practitioner in a single-site, team-based setting
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of urologic conditions including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other common urologic disorders
- Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms, including preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up
- Provide hospital and emergency room consultations, collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in a light call schedule, covering the site approximately 7 days per month
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in urology
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology required
- Active Vermont license required prior to start
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada required
- Clean malpractice history required
- Must be located within 1 hour of the facility
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
