Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Provide urology coverage in a hospital-based practice setting


• See patients primarily over the age of 18, with the exception of emergency torsion cases presenting during call


• Manage a mix of cystoscopy/stent procedures combined with office visits, typically 24-28 patients per day


• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system


• Perform robotic surgery as part of the practice


• Access to 16 total operating rooms across two surgical locations


• Supervise new Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs)


• Office equipment available includes cystoscope, towers, and injection supplies


• Core procedures include: vasectomy, cystoscopy (in OR), prostate procedures, ureteroscopy (in OR), penile plication, lithotripsy, orchiopexy, and on rare occasions circumcision support


• Vasectomy reversal available but not mandatory


• Scope procedures applicable if part of provider's existing practice (not required)


• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology required


• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required


• DEA registration required


• Minimum of 1 year of experience required

The program supports a collaborative care model with Advanced Practice Providers and maintains a high standard of patient care across multiple surgical venues.
