Location: Onsite - Brownwood, TX

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Shift Needed: 5:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

We are looking to fill a plastics packer position in our Plastics Department. This position will be based at our Brownwood, TX location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality bathroom products, including luxury bathtubs and toilets.

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

• Obtains unit from final inspection.

• Removes defective sheets left in unit

• Checks to ensure I.D. tag is in the proper place, for the unit being packed

• Prepares installation and instruction kit and places with each unit.

• Responsible for inventory accuracy and recording material consumption

• Maintains accurate count of ware packed

• Maintains work area, e.g. cleans up, keeps materials, equipment, etc. in clean working order

• Practices and follows all required safety regulations

• Performs all duties as assigned by supervision

• Specific instructions for individual units being packed:
  
  Plastic Units
  Installs packing boards in proper location on units. Assures screws are properly
  spread and that the nailing flange is pulled up snug.
  Inserts poly bag between brace and apron.
  Assures that apron brace is properly placed to prevent chipping of apron.
  
  Spa Units - Assembles crate and prepares spa for shipment.
  
  Bath and Whirlpool Units - Installs necessary packing boards and boxes whirlpools for shipment.
  
  Masterbath Units - Disassembles and packs necessary component Masterbath parts, and packs or crates unit as required.

• Requires working knowledge of packing procedures, equipment materials, and computers

• Requires moderate physical demand with repetitive, heavy lifting, bending and stooping

• Requires exposure to heat, chemicals and dust

• Must be able to distinguish between shades of colors

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 50 pounds or more.

The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location.
