Preconstruction Manager

A well-established and national general contractor is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their Scottsdale team. This role will lead the preconstruction process on a variety of commercial projects (largely education, municipal, & healthcare), working closely with clients, design teams, and internal operations from early concept through GMP.

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, estimating, and cost planning efforts across multiple projects
• Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope alignment
• Partner with clients, architects, and engineers during design development
• Drive value engineering and cost-saving strategies
• Support project handoff to operations teams

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5+ years of preconstruction/estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor - ideally education, municipal and healthcare projects
• Strong understanding of commercial construction (ground-up and/or TI)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Able to work in the U.S. without restriction
