Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift at our Pinckneyville, IL location! The core hours are Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.26 per hour with a $0.40 per hour shift differential.

What You'll Do:

In this function, you will:

  • Run press brake for forming and/or punching operations.
  • Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using tape measure, micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
  • Inspect completed workpieces for defects, utilize Workmanship Standards, accurately document results, and complete inspection log.
  • Read work orders to determine specifications.
  • Test and adjust the machine using gauges and hand tools.
  • Install, and align punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines using gauges, shims, and hand tools.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred qualifications:

Prior press brake operating experience. Prior assembly experience. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Position Success Criteria:

Must be able to obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
