Ocean Import Coordinator

Location: Jamaica, NY

Status: Direct Hire

Salary: Based on experience + full benefits

What You'd Be Doing

• Support the West Coast Director of Business Development
• Focus on ocean FCL import + domestic trucking pricing
• Obtain rates from vendors/overseas offices and prepare client quotations
• Serve as the liaison between clients, DBD, and overseas teams
• Assist with global RFQs (Excel-based)
• Maintain pricing updates for all clients
• Update CRM with proposals, client profiles, SOPs, etc.

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years in ocean freight forwarding
• Strong understanding of ocean freight + US trucking rate structures
• Excellent communication skills comfortable interacting with senior-level clients
• Solid Excel skills
• College degree preferred but not required
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $68,000.00
