Primary Care Physician – Virtual Primary Care Practice

Jefferson Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our nationally recognized Virtual Primary Care (VPC) Practice. This is an opportunity to build meaningful, longitudinal relationships with patients while delivering comprehensive primary care in an innovative, all-virtual environment.

While the position is remote, preference is given to physicians residing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, remote primary care practice

• Longitudinal care for an established panel of adult patients ages 18+

Your Practice

Physicians provide comprehensive, relationship-based primary care through telehealth, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and coordination with specialists and higher levels of care when appropriate.

You will work closely with patients and Jefferson's broader care team to address care gaps, improve access and outcomes, and support value-based care and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Pennsylvania and New Jersey medical licenses, or the ability to obtain both by the start date

• Commitment to delivering an outstanding virtual patient experience

• Commitment to health equity and caring for medically and socially diverse populations

• Strong communication and collaborative-care skills

• Two or more years of post-residency clinical experience preferred

• Additional language skills, including Spanish, are welcomed but not required
