Overview

The Principal Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting Paycor's Million Dollar Club (MDC) field sellers by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for the field sales executives. The Principal BDR will manage inbound lead activity within their territory and conduct outbound prospecting to secure a sufficient flow of qualified opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Schedule First Time Appointments (FTAs) for the field sales executives
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects
  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly and annual FTA quotas
  • Maintain required activity reporting in Paycor's CRM system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business - Required
  • 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
