Overview: As part of the produce team, you'll help ensure availability, cleanliness, and freshness of produce. You will be on the front lines of customer service, helping enhance the member's shopping experience. This role supports our members by delivering quality produce at low cost and contributing to a positive club environment.
What you'll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; adapt to the needs of the business; track goods and maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage in a timely manner.
Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support decisions about production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; assist customers per company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; maintain energy, commitment, and passion for the work; value the member's experience in the department and club.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply Open Door Policy in daily business processes.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances.
