Production Associates help in the manufacturing and production process. This role varies based on the needs of the company and often includes operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production lines, and conducting quality checks. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
Duties and responsibilities include pouring and demolding of product, quality control and packaging of finished products, ability to work independently and in a team environment, ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment, and successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the average plant temperature conditions range from 60 in the cooler months and up to 110 during the warmer months. All workstations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear and hearing protection; some work stations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited to gloves, aprons and arm guards. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist. Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for duration of shift. At least 18 years of age. Minimum of 12 months in a Manufacturing Environment.
