Production Control Supervisor

Lead daily manufacturing operations while managing production schedules, inventory, and material flow to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time customer delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and team members.
• Monitor production schedules and prioritize daily workload.
• Ensure materials and inventory are available for uninterrupted production.
• Track key performance indicators including safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Communicate production and inventory status to management and incoming shifts.
• Ensure production schedules are met safely and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability.
• Lead production start-ups, changeovers, and shift activities.
• Track production, quality, and delivery performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot production and material flow issues.
• Coach, train, and develop production employees.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Shipping, and Production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and waste reduction efforts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience with production scheduling, materials, or inventory control preferred
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• ERP/MRP system experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Work Environment

The role offers two shifts: 1st shift (7AM - 4PM) and 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM). The work environment involves both office and manufacturing floor activities. The position is integral to supporting an expansion following a successful bid with Toyota. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
