Archer Meat Snacks, the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel, is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations across our production departments in Vernon, CA. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll drive operational excellence by improving KPIs, developing your team, and ensuring compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards.

You'll work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teamsincluding quality, warehouse, maintenance, and sanitationto solve problems, improve efficiency, and maintain a high-performing production environment. Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant workplace and foster a safety-first culture

Ensure USDA, HACCP, and GMP compliance across all production activities

Lead, coach, and develop line leads and production staff

Optimize staffing levels, manage labor efficiency, and minimize overtime

Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and address equipment issues

Drive daily output to meet production goals while ensuring product quality

Oversee documentation for safety, quality, traceability, throughput, and yield

Participate in and lead training initiatives, including the development of S.W.I.s

Actively engage in plant leadership meetings and process improvement initiatives

Serve as a backup to Line Leads or Production Team Workers as needed

Collaborate with HR and the Production Manager on hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions

Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience in food production

Strong understanding of USDA, food safety, and regulatory compliance

Experience in high-speed manufacturing and labor optimization

Effective communicator with strong conflict resolution and coaching skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Vernon, CA production facility. Flexibility for shift coverage, including potential weekend or off-shift work, is important for success.
