The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards.

- Supervise and lead production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure production processes run efficiently and meet daily output targets.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support production flow and resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure material availability.
- Address production issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Analyze production losses and implement corrective actions on an ongoing basis (hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly).
- Provide clear daily direction and performance expectations to team members.
- Step in to operate equipment as needed to support production goals when short-handed.
- Maintain and update hourly production tracking boards and generate daily reports with action plans.
- Spend the majority of time (approximately 85%) on the production floor supporting employees and operations.
- Complete administrative responsibilities (approximately 15% of time), including time approvals, performance evaluations, and action plan updates.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a wood manufacturing environment, including exposure to elevated noise levels, sawdust, and machinery.
Schedule:
- Base Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Overtime as needed to meet business demands
