Production Supervisor

Eleven Recruiting is seeking a talented 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join one of our premier aerospace manufacturing clients. This role is responsible for overseeing production operations with a focus on assembly, welding, and fabrication, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to production plans.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the assembly, welding, and fabrication of components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
• Leverage daily management practices to maintain continuous production flow across 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Host daily GEMBA meetings with management to communicate detailed status updates on production plans and ensure the timely completion of action items.
• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure the prompt, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of finished products to customers.
• Maintain accurate records for all employees and programs within the department.
• Work effectively with both union and non-union employees to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven ability to work with both union and non-union employees.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Expertise in: Composite Fabrication and Sub-Assembly Testing; Metal Machining: CNC operations; Metal Fitting: Alignment and welding; Metal Forming: Shearing, punching, brake press, and bending.
