Production Support Lead

Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Informatica-based ETL and data integration solutions
  • Monitor Informatica workflows, sessions, and mappings to ensure successful data loads and timely processing
  • Analyze and resolve job failures, data issues, performance degradations, and SLA breaches
  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes related to data pipelines
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document fixes and preventive actions
  • Coordinate with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to understand data issues and operational requirements
  • Assist with deployments, configuration changes, and environment promotion (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD)
  • Validate data loads through reconciliation, data quality checks, and log analysis
  • Support post-deployment verification and ongoing application maintenance
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support checklists
  • Provide on-call or after-hours support as required for critical data processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience supporting Informatica PowerCenter / IICS / ETL workflows
  • Strong understanding of:
    • ETL job execution and monitoring
    • Workflow/session logs and error troubleshooting
    • Source-to-target data validation
  • Experience with SQL for data analysis and issue investigation
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scheduling tools
  • Understanding of data warehouses, batch processing, and file-based integrations
