Program Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management techniques, excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, as well as competence in the MS Office Suite. This role requires a U.S. Person as per ITAR regulations, who is eager to contribute to the company's goals and objectives, and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Support teams to ensure projects are completed on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
• Prepare slides and run required meetings.
• Assist with budgeting and scheduling.
• Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project for early resolution.
• Coordinate cross-project activities with customers.
• Assist in preparation of periodic management reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of project management techniques.
• Competence in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to learn additional programs as needed.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• U.S. Person as per ITAR regulations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or business.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience utilizing MS Office and MS Project.
• Exposure to FARR (Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements) for at least 6 months.
• PMP certification.
• Experience in program management and project management.

Work Environment

Join a growing company that maintains the close-knit feel of a smaller organization. You will work with a team of 2 Project Managers currently managing 5 projects, with the opportunity to take over 1 project initially valued at 2-3 million, which will grow as you are trained. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
