Project Director Hospitality & Residential Construction

AECOM Tishman is looking to hire a seasoned Director for a ground up hospitality/hotel venue in New York. We are seeking a true leader who can lead all facets of this end-to-end delivery venue, overseeing preconstruction through commissioning, opening, and handover. You will own scope, budget, schedule, risk, safety, quality, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder alignment across a complex, multi-venue destination that may include hotel/retail/F&B, entertainment venues, parking, and back-of-house construction operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Engineering/Construction Management or similar curriculum and 12 years of relevant experience in the field of construction, with 4 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience leading luxury hospitality, hotel, branded residential, mixed-use, or destination development projects with a strong emphasis on interior fit-out and operational turnover.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a senior level manager for a large construction project.
• Experience delivering luxury hotel guestrooms, branded residences, high-end food & beverage venues, and premium public spaces.
• Experience managing FF&E, OS&E, custom millwork, specialty finishes, and luxury interior construction packages.
• Experience coordinating with luxury hotel operators and internationally recognized design teams is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NYC building and construction codes and practices.
• Software proficiency in Microsoft Office products, P6, CMIC, Procore, etc.
