Location: Greater Boston MA

Duration: 6-12 months, possible extensions

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
Document current and future-state processes and define business, functional, data, and reporting requirements.
Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, solution options, and implementation plans.
Support finance-related platforms, reporting solutions, integrations, and workflow tools.
Manage project plans, risks, dependencies, decisions, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Coordinate testing, UAT, issue resolution, business sign-off, and post-implementation support.
Drive governance, ownership models, process documentation, training, and change-management activities.
Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, workflow technologies, and AI to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in finance transformation, business analysis, project management, finance systems, or related consulting roles.
Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, budgeting, forecasting, close processes, reporting, and financial controls.
Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, mapping processes, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Hands-on experience with ERP, planning, procurement, reporting, workflow, or enterprise applications.
Ability to assess business problems across process, data, systems, reporting, governance, and change-management dimensions.
Proven experience managing project deliverables, risks, dependencies, testing, and stakeholder communications.
Excellent communication, documentation, and executive-facing presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Dynamics 365, Coupa, Workday, Adaptive Planning, ServiceNow, Power BI, Jira, or similar platforms.
Background in shared services, finance systems, reporting, data governance, or enterprise transformation programs.
Experience in biotech, life sciences, nonprofit, R&D, or matrixed organizations.
Familiarity with Agile delivery, automation, AI-enabled business processes, and low-code solutions.

CPA, PMP, CBAP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or similar certifications
