Project Manager - Pipeline

Hiring on behalf of an established Southern California infrastructure contractor. The employer is disclosed to candidates who move forward. The role involves pricing and running pipeline and gas distribution projects, managing jobs from award through closeout, and sitting in field gas operations with a clear path to broader responsibility.

Responsibilities include reviewing bid instructions and project plan documents, running quantity take-offs, requesting subcontractor and material quotes, building bids in estimating software, preparing bid packages, managing awarded projects, and owning client communication through the life of the job.

We are looking for a candidate with a 4-year degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years in a comparable role. Project management experience in pipeline, gas, or underground utility construction is required, with experience with Southern California public utility clients preferred. Estimating, scheduling, and construction accounting software experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills with real attention to detail are essential. A degree in business management, project management, or construction engineering is preferred.

Compensation is $100,000 - $130,000 base depending on experience, plus medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation, holiday, and sick time.
