Job Description

One Community Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in Midtown Sacramento. This is an opportunity to practice patient-centered psychiatry in a collaborative, mission-driven environment serving a diverse community.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Competitive base salary: $296,595.93$401,276.84 DOE

Practice Details

As a Psychiatrist at One Community Health, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
  • Provide ongoing medication management and continuity of care
  • Treat patients with co-occurring psychiatric, medical, and substance use disorders
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers, psychologists, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
  • Utilize telepsychiatry for virtual patient visits
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care delivery

  • Has experience caring for patients with trauma histories and co-occurring substance use disorders
  • Values equitable, compassionate, and culturally responsive care
  • Is comfortable prescribing controlled medications when clinically appropriate

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active California Medical License
  • DEA Registration
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification

Preferred

  • FQHC or Community Health Center experience
  • Experience in integrated behavioral health settings
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and restorative practices
