Psychiatry, Psychiatrist Opportunity - Alpena, Michigan

MyMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health, is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health team in beautiful Alpena, Michigan.

This full-time employed position offers the opportunity to practice across the continuum of behavioral health care with a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient psychiatry. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supported by Psychiatric Mental Health APPs, inpatient APPs, social workers, patient care navigators, and Behavioral Health Telehub resources.

Opportunity Highlights:

• 65% outpatient and 35% inpatient psychiatry
• Monday-Friday outpatient schedule
• Inpatient rotation approximately one week every three weeks
• Average inpatient census of 8-10 patients
• Telepsychiatry opportunities available
• APP support for inpatient and outpatient services
• First-call night coverage provided through Telehub resources
• Ability to tailor your practice based on clinical interests and expertise
• Shared call schedule with holiday rotation
