PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant

MLR is partnering with a local health system to fill a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position for a full-time, permanent role in Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in delivering therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Implement treatment plans as directed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Accurately document patient care in compliance with state and facility regulations.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and proper body mechanics to continue at home.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and support improved patient outcomes.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Valid Arkansas state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
