- CT studies with and without contrast
- Contrast media preparation and/or administration
- Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
- PACS
- Diagnostic X-ray experience
- Ability to work with adult and pediatric patients
- Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols

POSITION OVERVIEW
CT/X-Ray Multimodality Technologist responsible for performing CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures across a broad range of anatomical areas and patient populations. This role requires recent, hands-on experience in both CT and X-ray modalities, including routine and contrast-enhanced studies, emergency and acute-care imaging, and advanced CT procedures. The technologist must be proficient in image post-processing, PACS, contrast administration, and peripheral IV placement while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient care standards.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
- Perform CT examinations of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system.
- Perform CT studies with and without contrast.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
- Start peripheral IVs for contrast-enhanced examinations when applicable.
- Perform specialized CT procedures including brain perfusion, virtual colonography, CT arthrography, and transplant studies.
- Acquire high-quality diagnostic images while following appropriate imaging protocols.
- Perform image reconstruction and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR).
- Review images for quality and completeness before sending them for interpretation.
- Utilize PACS for image processing, storage, and transmission.
- Provide imaging services for adult and pediatric patients.
- Support imaging needs in acute-care, emergency, and trauma settings.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, patient identification, and contrast safety procedures.
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of imaging records.
