Real Estate Attorney

Seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join a growing Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience handling New York residential real estate transactions independently from contract through closing.

Responsibilities include handling purchases, sales, refinances and transfers; reviewing and negotiating contracts; conducting title and due diligence review; preparing closing documents; coordinating with clients, lenders, brokers and title companies; and managing a high-volume practice.

Requirements:

• J.D. and admission to the New York Bar
• 6+ years of residential real estate experience
• Strong knowledge of NY real estate, title and lender requirements
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-service skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines

Co-op/condo experience preferred. Commercial real estate and leasing experience is a plus.
