About the Position

TransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed drivers for a Direct Hire position in Dalton, OH. This role offers a great opportunity for experienced drivers looking for a regional driving position with a competitive pay structure.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Weekly Pay: $1,800 guaranteed


• Schedule: Monday to Friday, home every weekend

Job Details

• Route Type: Regional, within a 400-mile radius


• Freight/Load Type: Steel products, building materials, pipe, lumber


• Equipment: Automatic trucks


• Handling: Strap and tarp when needed; $75 bonus for tarping more than 3 times per week


• Trucks equipped with refrigerators and hookups for microwaves


• Pet policy available


• Rider policy available


• Drivers can take the truck home


• No oversized loads

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles on local routes


• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards


• Perform required handling tasks including strapping and tarping


• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections


• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork


• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

Minimum Requirements

• License: Class A


• Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience


• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)


• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
