Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist that is dedicated in supporting patients in improving and maintaining lifelong oral wellness through preventive care, education, and compassionate service.

Full-Time: Mon-Thur 8-4 with 1 Friday a month work week, no nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive and comprehensive dental care in alignment with office protocols

• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting, cancer screenings

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning for periodontal patients.

• Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to prevent decay, when necessary

• Take diagnostic dental radiographs and intra-oral photographs.

• Maintain accurate patient records/charting

• Operatory set up and tear down

• Sterilization of instruments

• Schedule and confirm hygiene appointments

• Maintain recall system

• Provide education and support that empowers patients to build healthy oral habits

• Collaborate closely with the dentist

Requirements:

• Active Kentucky Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license

• Certified to administer local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide.

• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail

• Calm, professional, patient-centered chair side manner

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Experience: new graduate's welcome

Salary: TBD based on experience
