Our Wound Care Team oversees treatment of patients needing Wound Care. Our goal is to provide safe, quality, and compassionate care close to home!

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN)who excels in this role:

  • The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients served on his/her assigned unit as described in unit based competencies, policies and procedures.
  • In collaboration with other staff members, provides bedside patient care, implementing the interventions identified in the plan of care, as directed by physician.
  • Ensure appropriate patient care documentation
  • Implement and assure compliance with wound center and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain familiarity with regulatory standards.
  • Report quality of care issues to clinical manager or Program Director.
  • Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Communicates with all team members regarding therapeutic interventions.

What we're looking for

The right person who will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Applicants should have a current RN VA or compact state license. Associate's degree in nursing required.

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support
  • Experience in Wound Care required.
  • Certification in Wound Care preferred.

Hourly Range: $31.49 - $42.51
