MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults, navigating mental health challenges across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents day to day as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma.
Position Highlights:
- Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts
- Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, paid in accordance with program guidelines.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment. Valid Drivers License preferred.
- Experience: Experience working in a residential setting preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
