Restoration Technician

The Restoration Technician works as part of a team of emergency service providers to perform detailed cleaning and restoration services most often after a water or fire event in a residential home or business. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform detailed drying and cleaning procedures in homes and businesses.
• Assist in loading the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Assist to prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Adhere to company and OSHA safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with Crew leaders, Project Managers, and other teammates to maintain efficient work processes
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
• Bi-Lingual would be a BIG plus!

Position Requirements

• Dependable and reliable A MUST
• Be available to be on "after-hours-on-call" once every 4-6 weeks
• Effective understanding of basic English oral and written communication
• Basic math and comfort level with learning new technologies
• Experience in cleaning would be beneficial and preferred
• High school diploma/GED
• MUST have a valid state-issued drivers license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., under cabinets, attics, crawl spaces)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to work in cold or hot conditions
• Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state during major storm events
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Pay Rate: Starts at $16.50 - $18/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay, and increases based on merit and achieving industry certifications (which the company will pay for).

Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm + after-hours on-call rotation as required
