We are looking for reliable and personable individuals to help us build lasting relationships with our Tennis Warehouse and Running Warehouse customers in our retail storefront located in La Quinta, California. The purpose of this position is to build a foundation for lasting relationships with new customers and foster ongoing relationships with existing customers in the retail store and at associated events. Maintain store inventory and presentation via stocking, merchandising, and cleaning.

Duties and responsibilities include customer service, maintaining store inventory and appearance, being flexible during busy times by helping fellow co-workers and multi-tasking, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, continuously learning and developing skills, procedures and information relevant to the position, and understanding resources available to locate answers to product questions.

Required skills include prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred, passion and knowledge for Tennis, Pickleball or Running preferred, stringing experience a plus, listening well to customers and serving them in a manner that is friendly, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new software applications, clear and professional communication, active listening skills, problem-solving with creativity and innovation, professional demeanor in all interactions, interpreting and executing written and verbal instructions accurately, following directions well and gaining clarification as needed, adapting to new circumstances and executing multiple tasks and deadlines, excellent organizational skills, maintaining focus and attention to detail effectively, working independently and remaining motivated, recognizing when to seek assistance and collaborating effectively, fostering a positive attitude and strong work ethic, maintaining a standard of conduct that will maintain an orderly and productive workplace, upholding standards of safety and cleanliness in the work environment, practicing good judgement in actions and decision making, abiding by all Sports Warehouse policies and procedures, demonstrating a sense of pride in your work and representing Sports Warehouse in a favorable manner, and other duties deemed necessary to support daily operations of Sports Warehouse.
