About the RoleWe're looking for a highly organized, execution-focused Retail Operations Specialist Fixtures to manage every aspect of fixture procurement, store readiness, and installation for dealership retail stores across the country. In this role, you'll oversee the operational execution behind every showroom launchfrom planning fixture layouts and ordering equipment to coordinating vendors, construction activities, signage, and installation.You'll be the project manager responsible for ensuring every dealership receives the right fixtures, at the right time, installed correctly, and ready for merchandising. If you enjoy creating order from complexity, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and seeing physical spaces come to life, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoCreate and maintain fixture layouts and store maps for every dealership showroomPartner with third-party design firms to develop floor plans that maximize merchandising opportunities, customer flow, and sales potentialMaintain accurate fixture inventories and layout documentation across all dealership locationsManage fixture procurement, ensuring the correct quantities, finishes, and specifications are ordered for every projectBuild and maintain strong relationships with fixture manufacturers, suppliers, and installation partnersCoordinate production schedules, purchase orders, freight, and delivery timelines for dealership launchesDevelop and manage installation schedules across multiple dealership projects simultaneouslyCoordinate installation crews, freight providers, and local contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetOversee store readiness activities, including painting, cleaning, flooring preparation, electrical coordination, wall repairs, fixture removal, and other pre-installation workCoordinate signage and graphics production with internal designers and print vendors, ensuring stores remain current with seasonal campaigns and merchandising updatesTrack project milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies while communicating progress with internal teams and dealership partnersIdentify issues early, proactively develop solutions, and ensure dealership launches stay on scheduleContinuously improve operational processes to support efficient, repeatable retail store rolloutsWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in retail operations, store development, fixture procurement, visual merchandising, construction coordination, or project managementExperience managing multiple vendors, timelines, and projects simultaneouslyStrong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExperience coordinating freight, installations, and vendor schedulesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-throughProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and project management softwareWillingness to travel occasionally to dealership installations as neededBonus Points ForExperience managing retail store openings or remodelsFixture procurement or retail fixture planning experienceVisual merchandising or space planning experienceCommercial construction or facilities coordinationAutomotive retail or dealership experienceWhat Success Looks LikeEvery dealership receives the correct fixtures on time and within budgetStore launches consistently meet planned timelinesFixture layouts and store documentation remain accurate and up to dateVendors view Dealer Merchandising as organized, responsive, and easy to work withStore readiness activities are completed before installation begins, eliminating launch delaysSeasonal signage and merchandising updates are executed on scheduleDealerships experience smooth, professional, and well-coordinated showroom launchesCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $60,000$70,000 per year (depending on experience)Fully remote position with occasional travel for dealership installations3 weeks paid vacation and 2 weeks paid sick time annually, granted January 1 and prorated for mid-year hiresAnnual performance reviews401(k) account with company matchMedical, dental, and vision coverage available from day oneDealer Merchandising is an equal opportunity employer.
