Staff Development Nurse / RN

Civita Care Center at Milford is now hiring a Staff Development Coordinator / RN to provide education, training, consultative and support services to the management team, staff and patients.

Duties and Responsibilities for Nursing Staff Development Coordinator:

Determines the learning needs of staff in using a variety of methods in order to maintain or improve their competency

Conducts formal and informal competency assessments with staff and nursing leadership.

Utilizes data collected by PI, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Standards, staff, and nursing leadership to develop educational offerings

Collaborates with members of the nursing leadership team to determine unit-specific educational needs

In conjunction with the Nursing Leadership Team, assists in the growth and development of staff

Assesses the learning needs of the orientees and plans a comprehensive orientation

Qualifications for Nursing Staff Development Coordinator:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
