Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operates rotational molding machine to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale/Inventory. * Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. * Transfer plastic resin into ovens for heating and into molds for forming. * Work as a team to assemble and dismantle molds. * Removes molded parts from the molds and monitors part temperature. * Conduct mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging. * Uses feedback from Trimmers inspecting product to drive process improvements to reduce scrap and improve productivity. * Maintains safe and clean operations by adhering to safety procedures and company 6S requirements. * Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. * Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to complete dimensional measuring and quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools. * Ability to perform simple math and measurements. * Ability to maintain a high attention to detail. * Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. * Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, crouching, or reaching above the shoulders is required. * Frequent use of hands and wrists on both large and small items: e.g., screws, bolts and nuts to service the molds. * Ability to understand/apply knowledge of "G" and "M" codes and have applicable computer skills. * Ability to focus and work at a continuous pace for extended periods of time. * Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. * Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments. * Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently. * Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task. Education and/or Experience: * High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred. * Previous manufacturing experience preferred. * Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment preferred.
