SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER

Occupational Safety, Health, And Environmental Program Director Duties

You will direct all aspects of the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (OSHE) program, including compliance, waste minimization, hazardous materials management, data collection, and regulatory inspections.

You will lead and supervise Safety and Occupational Health Specialists and environmental engineers in a broad range of technical programs designed to improve employee safety and environmental compliance.

You will plan, develop, and evaluate all industrial safety, health, and environmental programs. Advise senior leadership on program effectiveness and develop new guidelines and procedures to mitigate risk.

You will direct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of facilities to ensure abatement of unsafe or unhealthful conditions. Lead mishap investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

You will develop and conduct safety and health training for employees, supervisors, and managers. Promote safety and health campaigns through presentations, publications, and other outreach efforts.

You will manage all personnel and administrative functions for the division, including assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, developing employees, and making hiring decisions.
