Job Description
Our client, an international logistics provider is looking to hire multiple experienced outside Sales Directors, International Freight Forwarding to be based remotely in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell International Freight Forwarding services including Import, Export, Air, Ocean, and Road Freight as well as warehousing solutions
- Seek opportunities to generate new business and increase sales through prospecting and cold calling
- Prepare quotes for international freight forwarding services
- Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded
- Attend industry relevant events to generate leads, increase brand awareness and build relationships
Main Requirements:
- 5+ years Sales & Business Development experience in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics or Shipping industries
- Must have experience selling international air and ocean freight services
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sales hunter with the ability to sell through a consultative solutions based approach
- Ability to build lasting relationships with new and existing clients
- Holds existing relationships with key contacts
- Happy to travel as needed
