Role Summary

Drive new business growth by targeting and securing partnerships with global chemical manufacturers and distributors, leveraging your expertise in chemical logistics and sales within the Houston area.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of business development experience in logistics or freight forwarding.

Strong network and presence in the Houston/Woodlands chemical and maritime ecosystem.

Deep expertise in chemical logistics, especially with ISO/specialized tank transport.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating a Transportation Management System (TMS) for daily shipment planning and execution.

Possess CLP and Hazmat certifications; demonstrate regulatory compliance in logistics and hazardous materials sales.

Must have experience in: Logistics - Warehousing & Fulfillment Centers, Logistics - Freight Forwarding (Air/Ocean International), Chemicals

Compensation Details

Salary: $4,500.00 - $5,000.00 USD monthly

Variable Pay:

Uncapped commission potential based on new business acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities with chemical manufacturers and distributors.

Sell specialized logistics solutions involving ship-borne chemical transport and ISO tanks.

Leverage existing industry network to accelerate sales cycles and close deals.

Consistently meet or exceed new logo acquisition targets to drive revenue growth.

Ideal Candidate Criteria

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Employment Stability: Minimum 2 years

Education/Specialization Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain.
