General Support To Manage Sales Activities And Events

Provide operational support to the general banquet department (including in-house and group events). Monitor competitor activities and provide marketing information.

Sell to new, existing, and prospective clients based on goals set in the sales strategy and offer and negotiate the best rates for their business. Manage the account base to serve existing customers. Conduct regular sales activities and market development. Conduct market research and analysis. Develop and maintain contacts with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitor and convention bureaus, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, government agencies, and other producers related to the hotel business.
