The Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit Greenville, NC) announces the opening of the Sales & Services Manager, Meetings and Conventions Market position. This position is responsible for leading the recruitment, development, booking, and rebooking of meetings, conventions, conferences, and other group business for Greenville and Pitt County.

This position will represent Greenville and Pitt County across North Carolina and nationally, building relationships, developing new opportunities, and recruiting meetings and conventions that bring visitors to our destination and generate meaningful economic impact in our community.

The Sales & Services Manager, Meetings and Conventions Market position serves as the organizations primary sales leader for the meetings and conventions market and directly manages the Sales & Services Specialist, Meetings and Conventions Market. This is a proactive, relationship-driven sales position responsible for developing new business, cultivating existing accounts, qualifying opportunities, responding to RFPs, conducting sales outreach, arranging and leading site tours, attending industry conferences and sales events, and converting qualified leads into definite business. The Sales and Services Manager maintains an active sales pipeline and works strategically to increase room nights, visitor spending, repeat business, and overall economic impact generated by the meetings and conventions market. The position develops and maintains strong relationships with meeting planners, association executives, corporate and government clients, SMERF organizations, and other group decision-makers, while serving as a key liaison to local hospitality and community partners. These relationships include, but are not limited to, all Pitt County hotel and motel partners, East Carolina University, Pitt Community College, downtown merchants, meeting and event venues, restaurants, attractions, service providers, and other stakeholders that contribute to the destination experience.
