2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required

Valid Minnesota license with clean driving record

Successful completion of DOT physical exam

Ability to pass a pre employment drug & alcohol screen

Successful background check required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:

Successful candidates must be able to work split shift; have skills and aptitude to operate a bus safely; enjoy the presence of children; be reliable and punctual. No experience required - paid training provided to obtain necessary license and endorsements. DOT Physical and drug testing are required. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty. Specific Tasks: To safely and efficiently transport students to and from their school site and/or special events. Hours per day: 4-6 hours per day. Most routes run 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM As per Bus Driver Agreement Route Driver Hourly Rate: $27.00/hour, Activity/Dept Driver Hourly Rate: $21.75/hour

$500 Hiring incentive for new hires:

  • Bus Driver: New employee is paid out $500 when the new employee has worked for 6 consecutive months
  • Incentive does not apply to substitutes
  • Rehires must have one year break in service to be eligible for hiring incentive
