Your responsibilities will encompass SDR and M&A Analyst duties, as well as some duties typically associated with our M&A Associate role, making this an exciting, multifaceted position.
As a Sr. M&A Analyst, your additional duties will include understanding a client's investment criteria, quickly acquiring industry knowledge, and engaging with potential targets via phone and email. - Cold-calling targets based on their engagement; over 100 calls per day are required.
- Sending follow-up e-mails to targets
- Keeping our CRM up to date with relevant information about targets
- Doing some contact research as needed; most contacts will be provided
- Assisting with external and internal weekly reporting
- Exploring and testing methods to engage clients and get them to respond through our outreach.
- Effectively partnering and working across the sales, operations, and M&A teams.
- Lead scheduled first calls with business owners exploring a sale or partnership
- Qualify opportunities based on financials, operations, ownership goals, and buyer fit
- Guide owners through early-stage transaction conversations and next steps
- Respond to owner e-mail inquiries and interest
- Provide updates to internal team members and clients on new deal activity
- Collaborating closely with other teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools.
Sr. Analyst Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a heavy calling role, with demonstrated success
- Knowledge of private equity and M&A preferred
- Strong academic background
- Solid knowledge of finance, accounting, and business
- US-based applicants only

- Having a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Ability and interest in learning how specific companies and industries function
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer and owner relations
- Ability to adapt to new software and technology
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- High ownership mentality, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- The selected candidate would be a team player, disciplined, organized, and a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Base Salary: $60,000-70,000, based on experience and qualifications
OTE (On-Target Earnings): $85,000-$125,000+ Includes a combination of calling commissions but meaningful uncapped bonus tied directly to origination and deal outcomes
