Senior Plant Manager

Molex is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize day-to-day business operations, drive operational excellence, and support the organization's continued growth. This role will oversee operational teams and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, establish performance standards, and ensure that business objectives are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can translate business goals into effective operational plans, build high-performing teams, and use data to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.

The Semi Test business is experiencing significant growth and expansion across multiple manufacturing locations. This team is focused on developing manufacturing capability, supporting production ramp-ups, strengthening operational performance, and enabling collaboration across global operations. The Senior Operations manager will be a key drive in continued growth and success at the Irving facility.

Operations Leadership: Lead and oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality execution.

Process Optimization: Implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and scale throughput.

Strategic Leadership: Partner with executive leadership to develop long-term operational strategies, budgets, and performance-driven metrics (KPIs).

People Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and build accountability across multi-layered departmental teams.

Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Senior leadership and departments such as Finance, HR, Sales, Customer Service, R&D, and product management to achieve organizational goals.

  • Experience leading manufacturing operations within a complex production environment.
  • Experience scaling a facility in a rapid growth environment.
  • Experience working effectively with global teams across different cultures and geographic locations.
  • Experience developing, coaching, and leading operational, and technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent operations leadership experience.
  • Experience in Semiconductor Test manufacturing.
  • Experience in CNC machining, plastic molding, or automated assembly.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification and application experience.
  • Experience leading engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or other technical organizations.
  • Experience supporting high-growth manufacturing environments and operational transformations.
  • Experience driving measured improvements in productivity, quality, yield, cost, and delivery performance.
